With the release of APx500 v3.4.1, the APx Polar Plot utility has been revised to accommodate use of a manually operated turntable. As shown in Figure 1, there is now a turntable type called “None (manual rotation)”.

When this turntable type is selected, each time a DUT rotation is required, the user is prompted to manually rotate the DUT to the required position as shown in Figure 2.

This new feature allows you to use the APx Polar Plot utility in settings where a conventional automated turntable cannot be employed.
