For immediate release DAVID SCHMOLDT APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF AUDIO PRECISION Beaverton, OR – Jan 9, 2008 - Audio Precision, the world-wide leader in audio test and measurement, announced today that David Schmoldt has been appointed as the company’s president. The promotion was made following the untimely passing of previous AP president Alan Miksch on November 30. The company also announced that 2007 was a record revenue year. As Audio Precision is a privately held company, specific financials were not released. Since 2001, Mr. Schmoldt has served as AP’s Vice President and CFO as well as Secretary and Treasurer of the Board. Prior to his employment at Audio Precision, he spent 12 years at Tektronix where he was on the management teams of several business units including oscilloscopes, displays and spectrum analyzers.
