This APx project enables rapid testing of 5.1/6.1 channel AV Receivers for DTS compliance, using the Audio Precision APx585 or 586 analyzer. The tests are exactly the same as those specified by DTS. This APx project greatly simplifies and speeds up DTS certification testing by setting up the tests, guiding the user with prompts when necessary, and automating where user intervention is not needed. The 8 or 16 input channel APx585 and 586 analyzers are ideally suited for this multi-channel application. No DVD is required.
