IT Manager

Audio Precision, the recognized leader in audio test and measurement, is seeking a hands-on IT Manager.  Responsibilities include supervising a junior network administrator, managing a network with 10 servers and more than 100 desktop and notebook systems. The server infrastructure includes Windows and Linux and requires experience with various versions of Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Apache, MySQL, and Samba. The desktop infrastructure includes Windows 98, 2000, and XP as well as Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, and other common desktop applications. The Administrator is also responsible for supporting a digital PBX with voicemail.

The ideal candidate will possess 10 or more years of IT experience, including at least two years experience as an IT manager, preferably at a small to mid-size company. The candidate must have hands-on experience with all the above mentioned technologies and specific experience with NT Domain to Active Directory migration.

The right manager will have excellent, demonstrable communication, customer service, and planning skills.  Including the ability to negotiate and integrate business objectives, end-user requests, and technological feasibility in both large and small projects.
