Audio Precision is located in Beaverton, Oregon, a suburb of Portland in the heart of the scenic Pacific Northwest. DSP Software Engineer

Job Description: DSP software engineer for high performance audio test and measurement instrumentation.

Responsibilities: Design and development of new digital audio measurements through the appropriate application of DSP technology, algorithm development and software design.
Other duties including but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain measurement validation tests.
  • Review and maintain non-DSP .NET application code.

Requirements:A demonstrated track record of developing and implementing successful solutions to difficult problems, with a practical balance between customer requirements, technology, cost and development time:

  • At least five years of experience developing DSP algorithms.
  • An understanding of A/D and D/A converter theory, techniques, and limitations.
  • Ability to work with hardware, including HW/SW system integration, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • A desire to work in a team environment.

    Desired:

  • MS in Signal Processing.
  • Audio signal processing experience.

Job Location: Beaverton, Oregon.

Travel: Less than 5% per year. Occasional travel for events such as trade shows, customer visits, and training.
